Archaeological sights and localities:
In the locality Nové Košariská there is an important barrow from the older Iron Age (700 – 550 BC). Unique finds of ritual ceramic are exhibited in Slovak National Museum in Bratislava.

Theatres and theatre scenes:
In the municipality there is a small amateurishly theatre without own scene. But the House of Culture is situated here instead of it.
Exhibitions (from that permanent expositions):
The exhibitions of fruit and vegetable (or handicrafts) are organized occasionally.

Concert halls:
All of the concerts are organized in the hall of the House of Culture.

In the municipality there is exterior gallery of timber men symposium and The Court of Romany Blacksmith’s Products called HEFAISTON.

Roman-Catholic, originally Gothic Church was rebuilt in Baroque – Classicism style in 18th Century. Inside there is unique polychromatic wooden statue of Hallowed Mary and Jesus (13th Century) named Helping Mother of God.
Evangelical church (19th Century) is built in the style of Classicism.
The chapel of St. Martin is a chancel from burnt Gothic Roman Catholic church (14th Century). In the municipality there are more of sacral buildings – Lurd Cave, chapels, crucifixes, bell tower and sacral carvings.
Ornamental sculptures and crucifixes:
In the community there is a chapel.
Objects of folk architecture, folk houses:
Earthen houses are preserved here from the end of 19th Century and the beginning of 20th Century.
Castles and chateaux:
A little castle is situated in the municipality.
Architectonic buildings of the present time:
Besides housing estate and new luxury mansions there is in the community new building of Municipality Council.

Neo-Gothic bell tower was built in the first half of 19th Century for the purpose of announcing catastrophes.
Technical relics:
The segments of levees on the Rye Island (Žitný ostrov) are under Historic Sight Protection.
Historical houses:
Here we can mention the curia called Svoradov dvor.
Memorable plaques and places:
A memorable plaque and a bust are dedicated to M. R. Štefánik.
Parks, gardens and other historical greenery:
Little new parks and remainders from old walnut trees alley (also protected 200 years old sycamore and 300 years old oak tree) remained in the municipality.

Ohničák – children folklore group.
Musicians from the municipality and close area:
Both the opera singer J. Kundlák and the trumpeter J. Lehotský live here.
Writers in the municipality and in neighbourhood:
The writer and publisher Milan Richter lives here.
Collectors (numismatics, philately and others):
Dušan Klíma, an internationally reputable car veteran specialist, lives in the municipality. Another famous person of the municipality is Daniel Baňacki, a representative in pentathlon.
Feasts:
They are practiced regularly – as celebration of religious holidays.
Fairs:
They are practiced regularly but they have more character of markets. In October we organize here the Dunajskolužnianske trhy (markets) – on the day of the feast of Nooi Košar.
Cultural events of the municipality:
An important event is the pilgrimage to the helping Mother of God, who is considered as a patroness of the Rye Island (Žitný ostrov). Because of it lots of believers are coming here every year. She is mystified in many legends and is famous for her ability to treat any disease.
More of cultural events are organized through the year. Traditionally the meeting of origin natives is organized, because a lot of inhabitants from other villages from whole Slovakia have here moved.
