The Magura Hotel in Ždiar is situated in the peaceful scenery of the Monková Valley, with splendid views of the crests of the Belianske Tatry. The hotel is situated about 1,5 km from the original Ždiar village, which is known for its striking folk architecture and traditional folklore. The hotel offers its guests single, double and three-bedded rooms with extra beds, family rooms, restaurant, cocktail bar, lounge with billiard table, reading-room, TV room, children's slot-machine, table tennis, fitness, storage of skis and winter sports equipment, rental of mountain bikes, beach volleyball, football field, children's playground and covered fireplace. Free parking facilities are next to the hotel. The hotel offers congress services, a congress hall for 150 people and 2 lounges for 25 people. In winter, the area offers one of the best skiing conditions in the High Tatras National Park.

The ski-lift next to the hotel is 250 m long and the slope also enables night skiing. Many gentle slopes for beginners are also suitable for sledging. In the surrounding area are two ski resorts, the Studnica Resort and the Bechlodova Valley Resort. The Studnica Resort is equipped with 7 ski-lifts, between 400 - 1200 m. in length (all ski-lifts also with artificial snow) and undemanding downhill slopes for less experienced skiers). The hotel is accessible also by ski from the upper ski-lift station; this track leads to the mountain crest and has a total length of 1200 m. The Bechlodova Valley Resort (4 km) has a chair-lift going to the Spišská Magura crest, connected to ski-lifts. The Magura Hotel is exceptionally suitable for family recreation, school camps and ski training courses. The excellent situation of the hotel enables guests to visit the nearby environs (Ždiar village, Belianska Cave), or to undertake tours through the Široké saddleback to the Hifg Tatras mountains, cross of the Bielovodská Valley, Javorová valley or along the Spišská Magura Mountains crest. In winter, the Magura Hotel provides visitors with day and night rides on horse sleds.

The Magura Hotel also provides cultural and sport programs, various excursions included: visits to the historic towns of Spiš, Levoča, Kežmarok, Stará Ľubovňa, excursions to the Pieniny National Park (Dunajec river rafting) and Poland.
