The Association of country tourism Zádiel is a civil association founded in the year 1995.
It operates in the microregion of the Zádielská and Hájska lowlands in the southwestern
part of the Košice country on territory of protected landscape area the Slovak Karst.
Members are legal and natural persons. Seat of the Association is village Zádiel.
The main task of the Association is development of country tourism. First of all it
supports development of accommodating in privacy. It promoted its members by turning
out for international exhibitions of tourism. It supports education of students in the
resort of tourism by the form of cooperation with universities by providing an area
for scholarly task of students.

The Association of country tourism Zádiel by purpose of preserving cultural traditions
arranges a folk festival the Zádielsky market and [on the second Sunday of July] and
the Christmas carols [December 24] in the villages of that region.
Several years has been existing the so-called Reservation system of accommodation in
privacy and other services related to country tourism [for example mountain guide,
speleologist, horseback riding, ...]
How can you fing the Association of country tourism Zádiel?
- By car: road from Košice to Rožňava, diversion near Dvorníky
- By train: railway track Košice-Plešivec, station Dvorníky
- By bus: first to Košice and then direction Moldava n/B - Silická Jablonica or
through Rožňava in direction of Moldava n/B, to get off in Dvorníky
