Town Malacky is situated in the center of southern part of the Záhorská lowlands, 35km
from the center of Bratislava in the direction of Brno. It is available by train, by car
(highway)
The first written mention is from 1206. This town has cultural and sports traditions.
To the most precious and visitable monuments in Malacky belongs the Franciscan Church
to be consecrated to the Immaculate Conception of Virgin Mary where are located holy
stairs, too. It is necessary to fix a date at parish office(phone: ++421/34/772 21 89).

Points of interest, remarkables and rarities
Nowadays our town serves as a starting point for trips to beech forests to go mushrooming.
In the radius of 10km there are interesting recreational centers Rudava {Malé Leváre} and
Kamenný Mlyn {stone-mill} for town visitors. Magazines "Malacký hlas" comes out to inform
regularly about town events.
